Professional Podiatry Products is a business run by the Sunbird Management business consultancy.

The Technical Consultant for Sunbird is Chris Callaghan, who has an Honours degree in Biochemistry. For over 20 years he worked as an Industrial Chemist, then started Common Scents (Aromatherapy Supplies) in 1994, and ran that business for 10 years, until 2004. For 6 years after that he was Technical Consultant for its successor, Caromatics Aromatherapy Supplies, as well as many others. In 2010 he took over the business again and re-named it 'Sunbird Oils', and decided to further increase its work with podiatry products.

These businesses have manufactured supplies for podiatry wholesalers for over a decade, having originally worked with a qualified, experienced Podiatrist to develop a range of relevant products. Chris has therefore had over 10 years of experience of specific issues that are relevant to today's practising professional podiatrists. (As well as 16 years experience with Essential Oils, and 37 years general experience as an industrial chemist!)
Chris reckons that in 16 years that he has sold about 100,000 bottles of Tea tree (that's over 1 tonne of oil!), and that he has never had a problem reported of bad reactions to the oil...
He has worked with customers to develop relevant and effective products, and it always willing to discuss treatment practices and advise on legal and safety issues.
