How Much Does Golden Membership Cost Them?
Nothing at all! They can take advantage of absolutely everything on offer, and pay nothing. We earn small commissions on some items, but that doesn't increase the price of anything. In fact, much of what we advertise are Special Offers, Discounts and Bonuses that give them a good deal that they wouldn't be able to get anywhere else. We have tens of thousands of active members, so we get economies of scale that we pass on to our members

How Much Does Golden Membership Cost For Me To Organise For My Members?
Again, nothing at all! You and your members benefit from using Golden Membership, and we benefit from gaining lots more Active Members – that means it is an equal partnership between us. In fact, we offer you the opportunity to advertise your existing business to all the other tens of thousands of members using the site…

So What Advantages Are There For Me To Negotiate A Partnership With You?
Firstly, you gain immediate benefits for you and your members, so we advise that you promote this actively. For no cost to anyone, you have increased the benefits of joining your organisation. This is a significant ‘Added Value' to the membership that they subscribe to with you – every bit as much as if you had gone out and negotiated all these benefits yourself, added them to your own site, and managed them all yourself. We suggest that you advertise this loudly to your membership ( and to potential new members ), and use language like “we have negotiated this on your behalf” to ensure that they understand that it has come to them as a perk of knowing you! We are not seeking membership from individuals, so partner organisations like yours will be fully entitled to boast that Golden Membership is something that people can access only by starting off as members of a group like yours…

What Other Advantages Are There For Us?
There are lots. You become entitled to free advertising on the Golden Membership site.
Exactly how this is done will vary according to each partnership organisation, and what we negotiate with you will reflect what are your ‘goods and services' and how you operate.

So How Can We Get Free Advertising?
If you offer ‘goods or services' that might be genuinely of interest to all business owners, we would be pleased to host a free advertisement* for you. If you are able to offer Special Offers, Discounts or Bonuses to interest other Golden Membership users, then we will obviously be more inclined to promote you. (But do remember the usual legal restrictions on using these terms apply to marketing on the internet just as they do with more traditional forms of marketing.)

How Else Can You Promote My Business?
The best exposure that we can give you is to mention you in one of our regular email newsletters to members, drawing their attention to your new advertisement on our site. Preferably this would be to highlight a Special Offer or other exceptional deal. However, in such cases we like to negotiate a reciprocal promotion with you. For example, if you also send out email newsletters, and/or if your site features a regular monthly ‘discounts page', then we would like you to feature something about Golden Membership in return. Don't forget, whilst we offer many free services to you and your members, we rely upon you for our marketing to them – so we scratch your back if you scratch ours!

If You Advertise My Business, Will You Provide A Permanent Weblink?
Again, the answer is Yes, but we expect you to reciprocate. So we will set up a link on a webpage advertising you – a weblink that will drive human customers to your site – and in return we would like you to provide a link to one of our sites. This needn't be a link that sends people to us – in fact, it needn't even be noticed by human visitors – but we require a link that will be noticed by search engine spiders so that our site improves its ranking on searches. By Partnering Golden Membership, Aren't I Just Handing Over My Customer List To You?
This isn't something that need concern you. Initially, your subscribers visit the Golden Membership website as Visitors using the general log-in details that you have supplied to them. We are not able to identify them in any way. If they chose to sign up as Active Members, we have too many members to manage our list of subscribers manually, so instead we use an ‘Autoresponder' service. All member details are recorded on a secure database, and any sharing of these details is strictly prohibited.
Besides this, we have no interest in hijacking your members and competing with you! You provide a very specific service to a very particular group of business people, and we have chosen you as a partner because we know that you do an excellent job and we wish to support you in that. Our service is much more general, and we hope that you will join us in regarding our services as complementary, not competing…

Won't My Members Be Exposed To Advertising From Other Networks That Compete With Mine?
No. We will carefully monitor the activities of new networks joining Golden Membership to ensure that this does not occur. Where we think that there might be some conflict of interest we will ask for your opinion – and if you object we will not approve their application.

There is just one exception to this… Golden Membership exists to “provide backup and resources to business owners who want to improve their businesses and improve their lives”. Our members range from people taking their first tentative steps towards becoming self-employed to directors running successful companies – and their needs differ accordingly. Also, these people will vary enormously as individuals. Therefore, there can be no single solution to their needs. For that reason we intend to feature the widest possible range of resources in the area of coaching, self-improvement, goal-setting, change management and personal impact. In these areas we would hope that network administrators would concede that they best serve their members by encouraging them to consider the widest possible range of resources.

*Remember the following points when advertising with us:

We will need to have a complete description of your business so that we can decide the most appropriate section(s) for it to be listed. (We will list it in more than one if that is helpful to users.)
We will need to know whether your offer will be of limited interest because it is only available within a limited geographical area, or only to a certain size of business.
No more than one submission per month, please.
The more information you give us, the better we can place your advertisement.
