Purchasing - What To Do To Get Our Blended Silicone Lubricant 'FanLube'

You can buy FanLube now using PayPal - the trusted system as used on eBay etc
(you don't need to have an account, though it fills in your details if you have)

First you need to work out three things:

What size FanLube do you need?
For calculating postage, do you live in the UK, Europe, or the Rest of the World?
Do you want standard postage rate, or do you want to pay more for the 'signed for' service?

We cannot entertain any complaints about non-delivery unless you choose to pay the extra for the "signed for" service. This will require you to be present to accept delivery and sign for the packet, and is traceable and insured. Unfortunately the extra cost is significant, but enables us to despatch again if the first delivery is lost...

All prices are quoted in GB pounds. (Email us if you want to know what that means in a different currency.)

How Much Do You Need?
Well, one droplet of 'FanLube' from the dipstick of the 1ml Vial is sufficient to lubricate one small laptop cooling fan - and is about 1/50th of 1ml. So our 1ml Vial should last you a long time!
The polydropper dispenses a larger drop suitable for larger fans. But a 5ml bottle should do you for over 100 applications, and the 10ml size for 250 applications.
It is probably only necessary to buy larger bottles if you regularly maintain more than one PC (or have a large desktop tower with several cooling fans).

There is a difference between the number of countries regarded as 'Europe' for postal pricing, and 'Europe' for the purposes of customs declarations...

     
For pricing, the following countries are classified as 'Europe'.
Any country not included in this list is priced as 'Rest of World'

For Customs, the 27 countries of the European Union not requiring a customs declaration are:

  • Andorra
  • Canary Islands
  • Gibraltar 
  • San Marino 
  • Vatican City State
  • Channel Islands * Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Herm and Sark
* Although postage rates to the Channel Islands are the same as those within the UK, customs declarations are necessary.
And we will complete a customs declaration for any other countries not included in the 27 countries of Europe.
Despatch to addresses within the UK or Europe does not require any declaration for customs.
For despatch to other areas, the customs declaration CN22 is attached describing the contents as 'Commercial Sample' of 'Lubricating Oil'. The HS Tariff Number is 3403 19
It is your responsibility to ensure that the customs regulations of your country do not restrict importation of FanLube, and for the payment of any fees by the customs authorities of your country.
